So what is a typical treatment session like?

Each session is approximately one hour. The acupuncturist will spend 15 – 20 minutes assessing your symptoms and progress in order to come up with a unique and ideal treatment protocol. After inserting hair-thin needles into various areas of the body, you will rest for 25 – 40 minutes to allow the acupuncture to take effect. Then the needles are removed and you might receive a few minutes of Tui Na (massage).
